Traffic protection between the Service and the mobile device is managed through HCL Domino HTTP server settings with all its security mechanisms (PKI/TLS, SSL) and high performance concepts (load balancing, clustering). Optionally you can use 3rd party MDM solutions (MobileIron, Citrix XenMobile, Cisco AnyConnect), which enable management of connected devices and their parameters.

NOTIFICATION SERVICE ABOUT CRUTIAL EVENTS
IMiS/mDMS Service can push workflow and other notifications to IMiS®/mDMS Clients alerting them of various application events and enabling them to act quickly in application workflows. Notification messages can be localized to match user’s device and application settings enabling each user to receive alerts in their locale settings.
